Array Optronix developed 1D photodiode arrays and linear x-Ray arrays for airport security systems and similar applications. These arrays feature high quantum efficiency, singulated photodiodes in a single module. Our robust technology allows assembly of cost-effective linear arrays ranging from a few pixels up to several dozens of pixels with highly uniform pitch. For x-ray detection the scintillator arrays - either crystalline scintillators or Phosphor screens - is attached on top of the photodiode array.

Recently, 3D CT technology has been applied in airport baggage scanning and explosive detection systems. Array Optronix photodiode arrays for CT applications allow to building highly sensitive and efficient detectors for CT-based security application systems.
