History

Array Optronix is a renewed launch of the optoelectronic segment from our roots, Semicoa.  Semicoa was founded by Mark Kalatsky, one of our principals in 1968.  Over the four decades, this business successfully served the aerospace, and industrial sectors.  In the 1990’s, work began in optoelectronics, and technology development lead to the successful establishment of a patent portfolio.  In December of 2009, Array Optronix was re-launched for the continuation of the optoelectronics business.

Technology

Array has seminal patents that define advantages in performance for photodetector devices that support the needs of the emerging advanced CT technologies.  The company has further developed its portfolio to extend its unique advantages to the regime of arrays of other optoelectronic device types. Our technology differentiator include pixel isolation, flexible form factor and integrated logic.
